Background
In January 2008, Duke Realty entered the New Jersey market with the purchase of a former General Motors’ assembly plant in Linden, New Jersey. The 100-acre site is located off the New Jersey Turnpike, at Exit 13, and is in close proximity to Port Newark and the Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal, the second largest container port in the United States. Duke Realty plans to redevelop the site for industrial and retail use.
