(Linden, NJ – Nov. 8, 2012) In the days since Hurricane Sandy hit the densely populated East Coast, New Jersey officials have been working to assemble thousands of responders from around the country to help restore electricity and other utilities to its residents. Part of this intensive recovery plan included the difficult task of finding a large block of available land in northeast New Jersey to set up a staging area and encampment facilities for the workers who were en route to help.
