If we’re at work in a community, we believe we have a responsibility to help make it a better place to live. We show our community support through personal volunteer efforts by our associates and financial contributions to organizations that rely on the generosity of others.
We encourage our associates to participate in volunteer/community activities and support those who do by providing each associate with two paid community days per year. One of these paid community days is used on an annual company-wide Day of Service, when associates in every Duke Realty office volunteer with local organizations in their communities on the same day.
Plus, Duke Realty increases associates’ contributions to not-for-profit organizations by matching their contributions dollar for dollar and providing financial support to organizations for which Duke Realty associates volunteer their time.

We are expanding our network of high-quality goods and service providers through our supplier diversity program. We also recognize that to recruit and retain the best talent, we must provide a workplace culture that respects the ideas and contributions of all associates.
Our efforts have earned us awards from within our industry as well as the communities we serve. We’ve been recognized by 2020 Women on Boards as a Winning “W” Company. This recognition, along with the contributions of our female executives, led to our inclusion in the PAX Ellevate Global Women’s Index Fund.
