Growing e-commerce needs, bigger shipments, and an improved roadway are spurring development along the New Jersey Turnpike, according to a recent New York Times article. Duke Realty is at the forefront of that movement with Legacy Commerce Center, a 495,000-square-foot facility in Linden, N.J.
“If you look at the existing properties in the area, they really don’t meet the demands of today’s clients,” Duke Realty’s Jeff Palmquist, senior vice president for the Northeast region, says in the article. Those needs include higher clearance, loading docks on both sides of a building, and expanded parking lots.
