INDIANAPOLIS — June 2, 2021 —Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), the leading domestic-only, pure-play logistics property REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) in the United States, has expanded its Operating Committee, a team of internal managers responsible for determining and implementing the company’s operational strategies, to provide for more departmental insight and diversity of thought. The three female managers who have been added to Operating Committee include Vicki Bronson, senior vice president of marketing; Megan Basore, vice president of corporate responsibility; and Stacey Anderson, vice president and director of property accounting.
“Our Operating Committee has long been instrumental in making decisions and executing programs to ensure that our company operates efficiently, provides outstanding service to our customers, remains competitive and conducts our business in a responsible manner,” said Jim Connor, chair and chief executive officer. “After a recent review of the composition of this group, we recognized that we did not have adequate representation from three major operating areas of our company – marketing, corporate responsibility and property accounting. As it turns out, all three of these areas in our company are led by women, which also will broaden the perspectives of the committee.”
Ms. Bronson, Basore and Anderson each have been associates of Duke Realty for more than 14 years and oversee the policies that govern the day-to-day activities of their operational groups. In addition to decisions that affect current functions, they also consider and make recommendations that will improve operations long-term.
