Duke Realty Leases 120,000 Square Feet to Alcatel-Lucent

Communications services provider will relocate to Dublin in May 2011

(Columbus, Ohio – April 5, 2011) Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty) has leased more than 120,000 square feet of office space to global communications technology leader Alcatel-Lucent in Atrium II, Duke’s two-tower, Class A office complex in Dublin, Ohio. Alcatel-Lucent, which currently has offices on East Broad Street in Columbus, will relocate its nearly 600-person workforce to Atrium II beginning in May 2011.

Duke Realty’s Atrium II, located at 5455-5475 Rings Road, is a 291,445-square foot complex composed of two, five-story towers connected by a five-story atrium. The development features an on-site café, as well as a conference and fitness center in the building for tenants’ use. Alcatel-Lucent will use its space in Atrium II for general office purposes and research and development. To accommodate Alcatel-Lucent’s delivery and shipping needs, Duke Realty will construct on new loading dock on the north side of the North Tower. A new 21,000-square foot computer and equipment testing laboratory also will be constructed as with other on-site improvements.
