Duke Realty Promotes Steve Schnur to Senior Regional Executive Vice President

Schnur will oversee the company’s East and West Regions, as well as continue to lead and manage its Midwest Region.

(Indianapolis, Ind. – June 26, 2017) Steven W. Schnur has been promoted to Senior Regional Executive Vice President of Duke Realty, a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of quality industrial facilities. In his new position, Schnur will have the additional responsibility of overseeing the company’s East and West Regions, while continuing to lead and manage its Midwest Region. Duke Realty currently owns and manages 134 million square feet of industrial properties in 21 major metropolitan markets across the United States. Schnur also is a member of the company’s Executive, Operating and Investment Committees.

Previously, Schnur was Regional Executive Vice President of the Midwest Region for two years and Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s Chicago Operations for nine years before assuming responsibility for the company’s Minneapolis and St. Louis operations in late 2013. He joined Duke Realty in 2003 as Vice President of Leasing after serving as the Director of Real Estate for Opus North.

A Northwestern University alumnus, Schnur has a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Studies. He is past president of the Chicago Chapter of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) and is a member of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) and AIRE (Association of Industrial Real Estate).
