Duke Realty Purchases 6650 Sugarloaf Parkway

Class A, 72,075-square foot building located in The Business Park at Sugarloaf in Duluth

(Atlanta, GA – July 11, 2011) Duke Realty Corp. (Duke Realty) has purchased 6650 Sugarloaf Parkway, a one-story, 72,075-square foot office building in Duluth within the Gwinnett/Northeast I-85 submarket of Atlanta. The Class A office building is located in Duke Realty’s The Business Park at Sugarloaf, a mixed-use business park in which Duke Realtyowns approximately 1.2 million square feet of office and industrial space.

Duke Realty originally constructed 6650 Sugarloaf Parkway for Bowen Family Homes as its headquarters facility.

“Owning 6650 will give us additional flexibility for accommodating the expansion needs of our existing tenants within the park,” said Chris Brown, senior vice president in Duke Realty’s Atlanta office.

Developed by Duke Realty in 2004, 6650 Sugarloaf Parkway is only one mile from Interstate 85 and is in immediate proximity to Gwinnett Center, a complex featuring Gwinnett Arena, a convention center and a performing arts center; the Discover Mills Mall; and numerous hotels, banks and restaurants.
