Associates in Duke Realty’s Dallas and Houston offices clearly had the company’s core values in mind this past year, and their responsible, respectful, and resourceful way of working has once again earned them recognition from the Texas business community.
The Texas offices were honored with a 2015 Best Companies to Work for in Texas award in the large companies category (those having 500 or more employees). Duke Realty has received the distinction four years in a row.
This recognition reflects a thorough assessment of benefits and employee satisfaction, taking into account eight categories: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; role satisfaction; work environment; relationship with supervisor; training, development, and resources; pay and benefits; and overall engagement.
Duke Realty was recognized for all of these factors, as well as for particular benefits such as 3 p.m. closings on first Fridays during the summer months and before holidays, the Art Day excursion, forgivable loans of $3,000 available to associates who are first-time homebuyers, and the eight $4,000 scholarships awarded annually to children of Duke Realty associates.
Also for the fourth year in a row, the Dallas office was recognized as one of Dallas Business Journal’s 2015 Healthiest Employers in North Texas. The annual award singles out companies who offer benefits and programs to make healthy habits easier and more attractive to their employees.
Duke Realty’s longstanding commitment to wellness contributed to its inclusion as well as its continued offering of the comprehensive, web-based Vitality program, which has made getting and staying healthy a Duke Realty team effort.
