(Dallas, Tex. ‒ May 18, 2015) The Dallas office of Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty), a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of bulk industrial facilities, announced that Owens & Minor has renewed its lease for 223,190 square feet in Lakeside Ranch Building 20. The national distributor of name-brand medical and surgical supplies and supply-chain management company will continue to serve its customers in Texas and surrounding states from the building which is located at 550 Lakeside Parkway in Flower Mound in the DFW Airport Industrial submarket.
“We are pleased that Owens & Minor has elected to remain a Duke Realty tenant and continue to occupy its space in Lakeside Ranch Building 20,” said Jeff Thornton, Senior Vice President for Duke Realty’s Texas Region. “The building not only meets Owens & Minor’s space needs, but also provides them with ready highway access via I-635 and state highways 121 and 114 and is located within minutes of the airport.”
Lakeside Ranch Building 20 is a 748,831-square foot building that Duke Realty acquired in 2012. The building is 100 percent leased, with HD Supply occupying the remainder of the space in the building. Adjacent to the building, Duke Realty also owns two pad-ready sites that will support the development of a 324,000-square-foot front-load building and a 660,000-square-foot cross-docked building. “Flower Mound is a growing industrial submarket with great highway access,” added Thornton. “With the parcels we have here, our construction expertise and experience in meeting the demands of bulk warehouse users, we are well-positioned to efficiently serve businesses looking to expand in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.”
