Two early leases signed for new industrial space in Duke Realty’s Turnpike Crossing

(Weston, Fla. ‒ April 19, 2016) The South Florida office of Duke Realty Corporation, a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of quality industrial facilities, announces that it has signed leases with two tenants for 76,316 square feet of space in one of its two, new industrial buildings currently under construction in Palm Beach County at Florida’s Turnpike and Jog Road. Sixty-one percent of Turnpike Crossing 1315, a 124,523-square-foot building, is already leased, with Straight Line Millwork leasing 23,066 square feet and RMB USA leasing 53,250 square feet.

One of the newest and largest industrial developments in South Florida, Turnpike Crossing encompasses 67.2 acres that can accommodate 882,850 square feet in up to six, modern 32′ clear, Class A warehouses. Located in the west central portion of Palm Beach County, Turnpike Crossing provides direct access to Florida’s Turnpike via Jog Road, while two other roads in the Turnpike Crossing area provide northbound access to the Turnpike and I-95. In addition, Turnpike Crossing is close to South Florida ports and Palm Beach International Airport.

Both Turnpike Crossing 1315 and 1333 are nearly complete allowing for tenants to move in within the next few weeks. Each building has 32′ minimum clear height, 40′ x 50′ column spacing, and 50′ x 50′ dock bays. Turnpike Crossing 1315 includes 41 dock doors and Turnpike Crossing 1333 includes 34 dock doors. The two buildings share a 180′ truck court, with 212 parking spaces for Building 1 and 164 parking spaces for Building 2. Both buildings have tilt-up concrete walls, 50 mil TPO mechanically attached roofs and ESFR sprinkler systems.

The remaining 48,207 square feet in Turnpike Crossing 1315, along with Turnpike Crossing 1333, a 104,551-square-foot building also under construction on the site, remain available for lease.
